Sarah Vanslembrouck

Sarah Vanslembrouck (born 1971) lives in Ghent. In 2021, she rekindled her long-held love of drawing and painting at the Academy of Visual Arts in Ghent.

Her portraits, objects and landscapes emerge from stillness and focus. Restrained colours, simple subjects and a certain distance invite the viewer to pause and reflect.
