Steve Van den Berghe

Steve Van den Berghe (born 1972) began drawing and painting during the pandemic. In 2021, he enrolled at the Academy of Visual Arts in Ghent.

The human figure is central to his work, always with an unexpected twist. Imagination, tension and expressive contrasting colours give his paintings an open character in which viewers can find their own story.
