The artists

Between emergence and transformation

The Wired Heads drawings by Steven Vermeyen are richly worked and layered. Encased in epoxy, they give the viewer the impression of looking at not one, but two or sometimes even three faces. The image appears and disappears, becoming sharp and then blurred again. The models do not reveal their history, forever veiled in the mists of time. Suspended in the material.

Christophe Abrassart, also known as Entomomori, works at the intersection of nature and craftsmanship. Fascinated by rarities and antique curiosities, he collects natural specimens such as fossils, shells and especially insects. His work is an ode to transformation and life: fragile beauty captured in unique compositions that make the hidden poetry of nature tangible.
